M. Sc. Forensic Studies: (ONLINE)

"IFS India Education Department," in collaboration with other universities, is jointly offering a Master’s Degree programme in Forensic Studies through online mode. To enroll in the M.Sc. Forensic Studies programme, students must first complete any of the following courses with a duration of
 

The M.Sc. in Forensic Studies degree will comprise two parts. Upon successful completion of the above-mentioned elective courses, students will be awarded certificates from the IFS India Education Department. The M.Sc. in Forensic Studies degree itself will be awarded by the respective university. The university will provide study materials, student support, and conduct examinations, as well as maintain accreditation status. Once a student completes both parts, he/she will be eligible to receive the M.Sc. in Forensic Studies degree, which will be offered by the respective university only.


 

Core Part of the "MSC in Forensic Studies" will be facilitated and managed by external universities, and it is equivalent to at least 9 credit hours of MSc studies from respective university-

Course Structure and Course Fee:

- Application Fee - US$ 150
- Research Method - US$420 (3 credits)
- Thesis - US$ 840 (6 credits)
 

Research Method:

This is an introductory course in research methods. Research Method is for basic research and statistics studies which is a general course for all students in Master level. Thesis is an independent research paper course under external university's supervision.

In this course you will be learning about four basic themes:
-How to conduct top notch research
-How to evaluate the research of others
-How to make sense of statistical analyses and
-How to communicate your results in a professional style.

Thesis:
To be eligible for graduation, all students in a thesis degree program must present a thesis embodying the results of their research and the topic must be approved by the student's supervisor or supervisory committee. It requires that candidates undertake in-depth research in order to make an original contribution to the body of knowledge in their chosen studies.

Now, Students Who have completed our 6 or 12 Months IFS Courses can directly apply for M. Sc. in Forensic Studies Online Programme to complete Research Method and Thesis.

Eligibility:
1) Any related IFS Course having min. 6 month to 12 months duration (IFS Courses will provide min. 3 credit transfer etc.)
2) Any Science Graduate or Any Equivalent Degree from an accredited college or university or a comparable degree from a recognized institution outside of the United States. Also required is a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better and basic knowledge and experience in related field preferred.

Please Note : M.Sc. Forensic Science or any other master’s degree courses have not started yet. We are in the process of collaborating with different universities, and it may take some time. Whenever we start master’s courses in the future, we will update our website and make a public announcement.
